David L. Campbell Sr.

Owner/ Funeral Director & Embalmer

David is a native of Savannah and reared in Garden City, GA. He is a licensed funeral Director and Embalmer with over 31 years of experience in the funeral service industry. He is an alumni of Robert W. Groves (Class of 1979), Savannah Technical College (Bachelor of Business Administration- Marketing and Management), and Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Services (Associate of Applied Science-Mortuary Science, Class of 1983). He also attended Savannah State University.

He is a member of St. Paul C.M.E Church where he sings in the Mighty Male Voices and the Cathedral Mass Choirs and a member of the Bible Study and Sunday School Ministries. His civic and social activities includes Hilton Lodge # 2, Georgia Funeral Service Practitioners Association Inc. (Chairman of District #1), National Funeral Directors and Mortician Association, and the Benedicts Civic and Social Club. He is Chatham County's Coroner.

He is a member of the 100 Black Men of Savannah and a Mentorship Program. National Funeral Directors and Morticians Ass. and serves as Governor of District 5 (Georgia, Florida, and Alabama). GFSPA, Inc. and served as a past chairman of District #1 and Treasurer.

He is married to Dorothy Horton Campbell; he has one daughter, Davida J. Campbell; three sons, DeRiviere J. Brooks, David L. Campbell Jr., and Donovan J. Campbell; granddaughters, Davianna Alencia, Sydnei Althea, Jordan Jamya, Dorothy Jeane', Dannalyn Alivia, Jaida Marie, Jalia, Kayara, Nyla and Halle, three grandsons, Carlton J., Housten, David Campbell, III

Dorothy Campbell

Co-Owner

Dorothy Horton Campbell is a native of Savannah, GA. She attended the public schools of Chatham County and was a 1982 graduate of Richard Arnold High School.

Formally employed by Savannah Chatham County Board of Education for over 18 years, she now serves as Co-Owner of Campbell and Sons Funeral Home, Inc.

She is a faithful member of St. Paul C.M.E Church where she serves on Hospitality and the Praise And Worship Ministries and sings in the Communion and Cathedral Choirs. Her organizational affiliations include: Georgia Funeral Service Practitioners Association, Inc., Solomon Lodge #95 Order of Eastern Stars, The Charms and Links Inc, and Top Ladies of Distinction (Savannah Chapter).

She is married to David L. Campbell Sr. and they have three children, David Jr., Davida, and Donovan. She also has nine granddaughters, Davianna , Sydnei, Jordan, Dorothy, Dannalyn, Jaida, Kayara, Jalia, Halle and Nyla, three grandsons, Carlton, Housten, and David Campbell, III.

Donovan J. Campbell

General Manager/Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

Donovan Janard Campbell is a native of Savannah, GA. He is a graduate of Windsor Forest High School where he played football. Quarterbacking, he was an outstanding player on and off the field. Donovan had many scholarship offers but turned them down to follow in his father's footsteps.

He is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Services ( Associates of Applied Science- Mortuary Science, Class of 2012). He is a member of Union Skidaway Baptist Church of Sandfly, GA. His civic and social activities includes Georgia Funeral Services Practitioners Association; National Funeral Directors Association, Epsilon Nu Delta Mortuary Fraternity and The Southeastern Quarterbacks Club.

He is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. David L. (Dorothy Horton) Campbell, Sr. He is married to Aldreka O'neal Campbell and the father of four children.

Donovan's motto in life is: "Be good and be good at it" This quote encourages us to be decent human beings as well as striving to improve what we do or how we do it.

David L. Campbell Jr

David Jr. is a native of Savannah, GA, and a 2004 graduate of Windsor Forest High School. He attended Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro, GA.

David Jr. has been around the funeral business all of his life with his father, who is his biggest role model. Now he is the Office Manager and a Funeral Service Apprentice. He is a member of St. Paul C.M.E Church where he sings in the Youth and Young Adult Choir. David is married to the lovely, Cortney Coaxum. He is the father of Davianna A. , Sydnei A., Dorothy J., Jalia, Carlton and Nyla.

When he is not working at the funeral home he also works at the International Longshoreman and a member of the ILA local 1414, his hobbies include; fishing, golfing, playing football, spending quality time with his loving family.

Davida Campbell

Production Designer

A native of Savannah, GA, Davida J. Campbell is an alumna of Spelman College c/o 2011 earning a BA degree in Drama, with a concentration in Stage Management, and graduating with Latin Honors, Cum Laude. As a Drama major, Campbell worked in many facets of the department and Stage Managed several shows such as Lysistrata: A Woman’s Translation, Directed by Dr. Eddie Bradley, Jr.; Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats, Directed by Jade Lambert-Smith; and Agnes of God, Directed by Marion Wright at Clark-Atlanta University. In 2011, she co-wrote and directed an original production, The Stories of We, chronicling the issues of students in the Atlanta University Center, while upholding the traditions of the colleges. During her senior year in college, she interned at Nina Holiday Entertainment working as a PA on several shows such as “BEING: R. Kelly”, “Soul Train Awards 2010”, and “As Written: Chrisette Michelle.” Upon graduation, Campbell was invited to join the team. In 2011, she worked as a Production Coordinator on A Cross to Bear, Script PA on Verses and Flow, and Script Coordinator on the Soul Train Awards. In September of 2014, Davida fell ill and had to relocate back home to Savannah, GA. After recovering in March 2015, Davida created and now serves as the CEO and Content Developer of True Blue Entertainment Group.

She enjoys working at the firm in her spare time, designing the decedents programs as well as creating memorial video tributes for the families of their loved ones. She also enjoys reading, writing, editing films, and spending time with family and friends, especially her Godchildren, nieces, and nephews. Davida is a member of St. Paul CME Church, under the leadership of Pastor Da'Henri Thurmond, Sr., where she serves in the Higher Praise Choir, the Mass Choir, and is the director/ministry leader of the Children's Choir.

Warren L. Drayton, Sr.

Funeral Service Apprentice

Warren L. Drayton, Sr. is a native Savannahian and attended the public schools of Savannah Chatham County an was a graduate of A.E. Beach High School Class of 1999. He is a faithful member of First Bryan Baptist Church where he serves as a Jr. Deacon and the Finance Committee. He is the son of Earl and Rev. Beverly Drayton and he is married to Anna Mitchell Drayton and they are the proud parents of Warren, Jr., Trenton, and Gunner Mitchell Drayton. Warren is dedicated to the funeral profession and enjoy spending quality with his family.

Pastor LeRoy Pollen, III

Funeral Service Apprentice

LeRoy Pollen, III, the son of Dr. Delma Pollen and the late LeRoy Pollen, Sr. was born in Savannah, Georgia and was educated in the Chatham County School System, where he graduated in 1987 from Alfred Ely Beach High School. He earned a B.S. Degree in Social Work in 1993 from Savannah State University. Upon graduating from high school, Pastor Pollen pursued a career in Funeral Service, Mrs. Carolyn Jones of Sidney A. Jones Funeral Home hired him as an Associate. He decided to broaden his passionate care by providing professional care at Bynes- Royall and Adams Funeral Homes. Currently he is a team member at Campbell and Sons Funeral Home as a License Funeral Service Apprentice. He was employed at Gulfstream Aerospace for 12 years working as the Supplier Business Programs Coordinator. He retired from Gulfstream Aerospace in 2010 to fulfill his calling as Pastor of Fairlawn Baptist Church. He received his Certificate of Theology from the Bryant Theological Seminary.

Pastor Pollen is born again and filled with the Holy Spirit who has a servant’s heart with a love for people and a devotion to God. He was licensed to preach the Gospel in 1989 and has a reputation for trustworthiness and integrity to strict adherence to the Word of God, while teaching and Preaching Sound Biblical Principles.

His applied leadership skills in overseeing efficient administration of the church, officiating services, budget administration and extensive conflict resolution.

Pastor Pollen has participated in national and local community speaking engagements and events as well as supervised and coordinated staff including church officials and problem solving abilities.

Pastor Pollen establishmentarian of the New Wave Temple of Praise in 2021. He served on the Ministerial Staff of St. John Baptist Church (The Mighty Fortress). He has served as the Interim Pastor of Butler Presbyterian Church.

He served as Music Auxiliary Chaplin for the Southern Region of the National Baptist Convention, USA; 1st District Vice President of the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia Congress of Christian Education and Associate Pastor of First African Baptist Church.

Reverend Bruce Campbell

Reverend Bruce A. Campbell is a native of Savannah, GA and attended the public school system and a graduate of Sophronia M. Tompkins High School. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. A Master Cosmetologist and Barbaer and is the owner of TC's Barber Shop in Garden City. He serves as pastor of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.He is the son of the late Mattie L. Campbell and Bernard Houston. He is married to Ret. CW2 Thelma Watson Campbell and the father of Tiffanie, Tracee and Tamika, grandfather of Dwane`, Duane, Viniah.

Frank Campbell, Sr. is a native of Garden City and attended the public schools of Savannah Chatham County and a graduate of Sophronia M. Tompkins High School. The son of Julius and Mattie L. Campbell and is married to Barbara Edwards Campbell and is the father of Vincent, Alesha, LaShawnda, Frank, Jr., Ciera and Cherise. He is the grandfather of Quanesha, Willie, Jr. Alyah, Jaylin, Samantha, Vincent, Jr. and Quentin.

Kevin L. Foard is a native of Savannah, Georgia and the 1999 graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University. Kevin holds a B.S in Early Childhood Education, a Master of Education from Cambridge College, an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University. He is currently employed by Park Place Outreach Shelter, as well as Sidney A. Jones and Campbell Funeral Services. Kevin serves on several advisory boards in the Savannah, Georgia area, all-encompassing around improving the quality of life for youth and young adults. Kevin is also a mentor, a counselor, a father, and an advocate for at risk youth here in Chatham County. Kevin loves the opportunity to serve as a funeral attendant at Sidney A. Jones and Campbell Funeral Services because it provides him the opportunity to touch the lives of all people. Kevin has been called "The Community Social Worker." He often puts the needs of others before himself.

Keith L. Foard is a native of Savannah Georgia, who attended the Chatham County Public School System. He is a graduate of the class of 1991 of Robert W. Groves High School. He then went on to attend Savannah State College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 1996. He later went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Education in 2003 and has been in the field of education for many years. He is a mentor at heart and loves working with troubled youth here in Savannah Georgia. He attends Living Hope Community Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Joyce C. Hall where he serves as an usher and has been working with the College Ministry for the past 10 years. Keith is a people person at best and loves working with each and every family that he serves. His motto is, “Because you smile, you make the whole world smile!”

Anthony has a passion for music where he is the minister of music at friendship Baptist church for well over 30 years. Anthony has four children and seven grandchildren.
